Italy’s brilliant landscapes are inspirational! The poppies growing freely in the fields of Tuscany, a sea of red against the greens of the hills. Tuscany’s wonders of Monticchiello and Cortona bring to life vibrancy and romance.

Villa Nobile, 2019.

Painting the hillsides and medieval villages was an amazing experience. Staying in the Villa Nobile run by Raffelle Nobile and his son, Gennaro, we were treated to the full Italian small town experience. Dinners at amazing authentic Italian restaurants and beautiful wine. The Italian sun was warm and created exquisite light to paint the magnificent castles and fountains.

Rome did not disappoint, such an inspiring land! I cannot wait to go back and see the places I missed. Florence, Milan and Venice at the top of my list.
